Brewer's South Freeport Marina then owned the building, which was used to store masts, rigging and sails. The building is the last remaining historic commercial structure associated with shipping in Harraseeket Historic District, one of the largest such sites in the state. Below Right: Most of the graves in the cemetery date from the late 1800s and are contemporaneous with the founding of the Akin Free Library. The original Meeting House records are archived at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania.
